DisableOOBAccelerators (Standard 8 Module Reference)

7/8/2014

Review the applicable Feature modules and any examples for the DisableOOBAccelerators setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting specifies whether the default Internet Explorer Accelerators are available.

Set to true to disable the Accelerators; otherwise, set to false.

Accelerators are menu items in Internet Explorer that help automate common browser-related tasks. In Internet Explorer, if you right-click on text or select text with the pointer, a shortcut menu appears that includes Accelerators in the list of items. For example, if you select an address, you can use an Accelerator to show a map of that address.

Examples of the default Internet Explorer Accelerators include Blog with Windows Live, Define with Encarta, E-mail with Windows Live, and Map with Live Search.
