TabProcessGrowth (Standard 8 Module Reference)

Review the applicable Feature modules and any examples for the TabProcessGrowth setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting configures the rate at which Internet Explorer creates new tab processes.

The following table shows the possible values.

Value

Description

High

Tab processes can grow quickly. This setting should be used only for devices that have ample physical memory.

Medium

A medium number of tab processes are supported. This is the default value and is recommended.

Low

Very few tab processes are supported.

The following table shows the modules that you can apply this setting to. In Image Configuration Editor (ICE), you can follow the corresponding path to set this setting for a module.
