Task details pages allow you to define the actual steps necessary for the user to complete the selected local task. To reach the task details page, select a hyperlink on the task page.

As an OEM developer, you can freely design the task details page using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). The data entry control component and focus indicator component that have been provided should help the application developer in creating their own task details page using HTML. The task details page will run on Microsoft’s local UI framework, meaning that the timeout value will affect this page as it does others: after five minutes without any user interaction, the page will close and the status page will appear. Additionally, should you need to collect data from the user, you can use the data entry component of the Server Appliance Kit.
