Gets a short string identifying the device and any pertinent information about it.

This is a short version of DeviceDescription and should be limited to 30 characters.

DeviceName is typically used to identify the device in an application message box, where the full description is too verbose.

DeviceName is initialized to blank. State verification occurs in the basic and base classes for each device.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
