Qualified Names (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

A qualified name (QName) is composed of a prefix and a local part. The prefix provides the name space prefix part of the qualified name, and must be associated with a name space Uniform Resource Identifier (URI).

**Note   **The prefix functions only as a placeholder for a name space name. Applications should use the name space name, not the prefix, in constructing names whose scope extends beyond the containing document.
