ISpDataKey::OpenKey (Windows CE 5.0)

This method opens a subkey and retrieves a new object that supports ISpDataKey for the specified subkey.

HRESULT OpenKey(  const WCHAR* pszSubKeyName,   ISpDataKey** ppSubKey);

Parameters

  • pszSubKeyName
    [in] Pointer to a null-terminated string specifying the name of the subkey to open.
  • ppSubKey
    [out] Address of a pointer to the ISpDataKey interface for the subkey.

Return Values

The following table shows the possible return values.

Value Description
S_OK Function completed successfully.
E_INVALIDARG pszSubKeyName is invalid or bad.
E_POINTER ppSubKey is invalid or bad.
SPERR_NOT_FOUND Registry key not found.
FAILED(hr) Appropriate error message.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.1 and later.
Header: sapi.h, sapi.idl.
Link Library: Sapilib.lib.
