IBitstreamProcessor::GetDMAChannel (Windows CE 5.0)

This method retrieves the DMA channel by index.

HRESULT GetDMAChannel(DWORDdwIndex,IDMAChannel** ppChannel);

Parameters

  • dwIndex
    [in] Index of the channel to be retrieved. This must be between 0 and the total number of channels retrieved by IBitstreamProcessor::GetDMAChannelCount.
  • ppChannel
    [out] Returns the IDMAChannel interface pointer.

Return Values

The following table shows a list of possible return values.

Return value Description
S_OK The request completed successfully.
E_INVALIDARG A range check failed for the index.
E_UNEXPECTED IBitstreamProcessor::SetBitstreamType did not succeed yet.
E_POINTER An invalid argument pointer has been encountered.
E_FAIL A generic failure to get IDMAChannel occurred.

Remarks

IBitstreamProcessor::SetBitstreamType should succeed before calling this method.

The current version of DVD navigator requires DMA channel 0 to accept a full DVD stream.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
Header: Dvddrvr.idl.
