Setting up the Intel DBPXA250 Development Platform Hardware

The following steps show you how to connect the Intel DBPXA250 Development Platform to a development workstation.

To set up the Intel DBPXA250 development platform hardware

  1. Connect a keyboard and a mouse.

  2. Connect an Ethernet cable to the built-in SMC port.

    - or -

    Connect an Ethernet cable to a CF PCMCIA NE2000 network adapter. This requires you to choose NE2000 in the loader menu.

  3. Connect a NULL modem cable to the RS232 serial port connector labeled FF_SERIAL.

    This is the serial port closest to the front of the main board.

  4. Connect a power cable to the front right connector.

  5. Modify the Intel DBPXA250 development platform switches and jumpers.
