Gdi::CreateSolidBrush_I

This method creates a logical brush that has the specified solid color.

Parameters

  • crColor
    [in] COLORREF value that specifies the color of the brush.

Return Values

A handle that identifies a logical brush indicates success. NULL indicates failure. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

Remarks

This method is an internal version of the CreateSolidBrush method.

A solid brush is a bitmap that the system uses to paint the interiors of filled shapes.

After an application creates a brush by calling Gdi::CreateSolidBrush_I, the application can select that brush into any device context by calling the Gdi::SelectObject_I method.

Windows CE does not support dithered brushes.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
