FreeContextBuffer (Windows CE 5.0)

This function enables callers of security provider functions to free a memory buffer allocated by the security provider. For example, the InitializeSecurityContext function can allocate a buffer for retrieving the outbound context token.

SECURITY_STATUS SEC_ENTRY FreeContextBuffer( void SEC_FAR* pvContextBuffer );

Parameters

  • pvContextBuffer
    [in] Pointer to memory allocated by the security provider.

Return Values

Returns SEC_E_OK to indicate success. A nonzero error value indicates failure.

Remarks

This function can free memory allocated by a security package.

Requirements

Smartphone: Smartphone 2002 and later.
OS Versions: Windows CE 2.12 and later.
Header: Security.h, Sspi.h.
