Microsoft Desktop Engine Installation Failed

Description

Microsoft Desktop Engine (MSDE) installation fails if Terminal Server is installed.

Resolution

Terminal Server must be in install mode before you can install an application. Use Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel to set the terminal server to install mode, and then install MSDE.
