IMediaObject::GetStreamCount (Windows CE 5.0)

This method retrieves the number of input and output streams.

HRESULT GetStreamCount(DWORD* pcInputStreams,DWORD* pcOutputStreams);

Parameters

  • pcInputStreams
    [out] Pointer to a variable that receives the number of input streams. The pcInputStreams parameter cannot be NULL.
  • pcOutputStreams
    [out] Pointer to a variable that receives the number of output streams. The pcOutputStreams parameter cannot be NULL.

Return Values

Returns an HRESULT value. Possible values include the following.

Value Description
S_OK Retrieved the requested number of items
E_POINTER NULL pointer argument

Remarks

The DMO might have zero input streams or zero output streams. The number of streams does not change, and a DMO cannot dynamically add or remove streams.
