RestoreDC (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

This function restores a device context (DC) to the specified state. The device context is restored by popping state information off a stack created by earlier calls to the SaveDC function.

BOOLRestoreDC(HDChdc, intnSavedDC);

Parameters

  • hdc
    [in] Handle to the device context.

  • nSavedDC
    [in] Specifies the instance of the device context to be restored.

    If this parameter is positive, nSavedDC represents a specific instance of the device context to be restored.

    If this parameter is negative, nSavedDC represents an instance relative to the current device context.

    For example, –1 restores the most recently saved state.

Return Values

Nonzero indicates success.

Zero indicates failure.

To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

Remarks

The stack can contain the state information for several instances of the device context.

If the state specified by the given parameter is not at the top of the stack, RestoreDC deletes all state information between the top of the stack and the specified instance.
