The ReadRecord method reads a record from a specified file on the current application.

Syntax

HRESULT ReadRecord(
    IReadRecordCompletion *pCallback, 
    DWORD fileID, 
    DWORD recordIndex, 
    INT_PTR context);

Parameters

  • pCallback
    [in] Pointer to the IReadRecordCompletion callback interface which is called to return the results of the read record operation.

  • fileID
    [in] The file ID.

  • recordIndex
    [in] Index of the record.

  • context
    [in] Pointer to the context.

Return values

Returns S_OK if the method was successful.
