WGF11 SharedResources

This automated test verifies that hardware supports resource-sharing between processes and across APIs.

This test verifies that D3D resources created by one process can be used in a device context in a separate process. The test uses 2D textures, because this is expected to be the most interesting case. Because resources are also intended to be shared between different APIs (D3D9, D3D10.x, and D3D11), the test creates resources in each of these APIs and validates that they can be shared with devices in all other available API contexts.

This topic applies to the following test jobs:

  • WGF11 SharedResources (WoW64)

  • WGF11 SharedResources (WoW64)
