TA_NS_ADDRESS structure

The TA_NS_ADDRESS structure contains a single (X)NS transport address, suitable for use as a TRANSPORT_ADDRESS.

Syntax

typedef struct _TA_ADDRESS_NS {
  LONG           TAAddressCount;
  struct _AddrNs {
    USHORT         AddressLength;
    USHORT         AddressType;
    TDI_ADDRESS_NS Address[1];
  } Address[1];
} TA_NS_ADDRESS, *PTA_NS_ADDRESS;

Members

  • TAAddressCount
    Specifies 1.

  • Address
    Specifies a single address of a structure with the following members:

    • AddressLength
      Specifies the length (12 bytes) of an NS address.

    • AddressType
      Specifies TDI_ADDRESS_TYPE_NS.

    • Address
      Specifies a single address of type TDI_ADDRESS_NS.

Remarks

TDI defines this structure for convenience in situations requiring a single TDI_ADDRESS of type TDI_ADDRESS_TYPE_NS.

Note   The TDI feature is deprecated and will be removed in future versions of Microsoft Windows. Depending on how you use TDI, use either the Winsock Kernel (WSK) or Windows Filtering Platform (WFP). For more information about WFP and WSK, see Windows Filtering Platform and Winsock Kernel. For a Windows Core Networking blog entry about WSK and TDI, see Introduction to Winsock Kernel (WSK).
