TDI_ADDRESS_IP structure

The TDI_ADDRESS_IP structure contains an IP address, packed and aligned correctly.

Syntax

typedef struct _TDI_ADDRESS_IP {
  USHORT sin_port;
  ULONG  in_addr;
  UCHAR  sin_zero[8];
} TDI_ADDRESS_IP, *PTDI_ADDRESS_IP;

Members

  • sin_port
    Specifies a TCP or UDP port number.

  • in_addr
    Specifies the IP address.

  • sin_zero
    Specifies an array filled with zeros.

Remarks

A TRANSPORT_ADDRESS structure contains a specified number of elements of type TA_ADDRESS. TDI_ADDRESS_IP defines the Address member of a TA_ADDRESS structure in which the AddressType is set to TDI_ADDRESS_TYPE_IP.

The AddressLength member(s) of the TA_ADDRESS substructure(s) can be set to the system-defined constant TDI_ADDRESS_LENGTH_IP.

Note   The TDI feature is deprecated and will be removed in future versions of Microsoft Windows. Depending on how you use TDI, use either the Winsock Kernel (WSK) or Windows Filtering Platform (WFP). For more information about WFP and WSK, see Windows Filtering Platform and Winsock Kernel. For a Windows Core Networking blog entry about WSK and TDI, see Introduction to Winsock Kernel (WSK).
