Creating a Library Job

Note  This content applies to the Windows Logo Kit (WLK). For the latest information using the new Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK), see Windows HCK User's Guide on the Windows Hardware Dev Center.

A library job is similar to an execute job, except that library jobs can be called by tasks in other jobs. In this sense, a library job functions like a subroutine in a program.

To pass parameters from the task that calls the library job to the library job itself, define the parameters within the library job, and then follow the detailed procedure in the Creating a Run Job Task topic. For more information about using parameters, see Using Parameters.
