GetStringPropertyA method

Gets a specified property.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.GetStringPropertyA(pszName, pszVal, cbVal);

Parameters

  • pszName [in]
    Type: LPCSTR

    The property name.

  • pszVal [out]
    Type: LPSTR

    Receives a pointer to the value.

  • cbVal [in]
    Type: DWORD

    The size of the string.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
