propertyInheritedFrom method

Returns the rules associated with a property.

 

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.propertyInheritedFrom(name, ppRulesApplied);

Parameters

  • name [in]
    Type: BSTR

    Name of the property that the rules are inherited from.

  • ppRulesApplied [out, retval]
    Type: IRulesApplied

    The rule that is associated with the property.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
