Prepare Your Build Computer
You should create the build structure that you need on the computer that you will be using to build the custom browser package. The folders that are needed vary depending on your license agreement and the version of Windows® Internet Explorer® Administration Kit 9 (IEAK 9) that you are using: Internet service provider (ISP), Internet content provider (ICP), or corporate administrator (Corporate).
The options are as follows, where root_folder is a placeholder for the name you choose for the main folder for files built by IEAK:
Folder name | Description |
---|---|
\root_folder |
(All versions) Parent root for all files built by IEAK or referenced in your custom package. |
\root_folder\Dist |
(ISP version only) Destination directory for the files. This folder is needed only if you are creating your browser package on a hard disk or network drive. |
\root_folder\Bitmaps |
(All versions) Custom bitmap files (graphic files needed for your custom browser). |
