You can specify whether to download Internet Explorer 9 updates, and whether to download and run the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool as part of the installation. The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool checks computers running Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, or Windows 2000 for infections by specific, prevalent malicious software, and helps to remove any infection found.
