WideTile4

Applies To: Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2

WideTile4 specifies which application appears as a wide tile on the Start menu, in position WideTile4. This position may vary based on the screen size, resolution, and DPI of the target Windows® 8 PC.

If the region of the current user account is among those in the Start Tile regional layouts, you can use this setting. For more information, see RegionalOverrides.

Child Elements

AppId

Specifies the Windows Store apps appearing on wide tiles on the Start screen.

FirstRunTask

Specifies the background task that is active, or live, by default for the tile.
