Description

Specifies the default transmitting subscriber identification (TSID) for every new fax device installed on the system.

You can change this entry only by editing the registry.

You must stop and restart the Fax service to make changes to this entry effective.

Note

The Fax service sends the TSID when making fax transmissions, depending on the value of registry entry UseDeviceTsid. The receiving fax device might use the TSID in a variety of ways; fax machines often display the TSID when receiving a fax and also might print it on the top of each received page. The local Fax service can also include the TSID in a banner, which is prepended to each transmitted page, when the value of registry entry Branding is set to 1.
