Define a new option

To define a new option
Open DHCP.
In the console tree, click the applicable DHCP server.
Where?
- DHCP/applicable DHCP server
On the Action menu, click Set Predefined Options.
In Predefined Options and Values, click Add.
In Option Type, type the required information to define the new option, and then click OK.
To view a description of a dialog box item, right-click the item, and then click What's This?.
Notes
To open DHCP, click Start, click Settings, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click DHCP.
By default, standard DHCP options and BOOTP extensions as described in RFC 2132 are predefined for use at DHCP servers running Windows Server 2003 . For more information, see Related Topics.
