Rename or move a folder
Applies To: Windows Server 2003 R2
To rename a folder
Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click DFS Management.
In the console tree, under the Namespaces node, right-click a folder, and then click Rename Folder.
Type the new name in the New Name field.
To move a folder
Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click DFS Management.
In the console tree, under the Namespaces node, right-click a folder, and then click Move Folder.
Enter the folder path in the New location field or click Browse to locate a folder.
Notes
To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Local Administrators group on each server that hosts the namespace, or you must have been delegated the ability to manage an existing namespace.
You can also drag and drop folders in the console tree.
