Creating a Macintosh-accessible volume on a CDFS
To Create a Macintosh-accessible volume on a CDFS volume, follow the same procedure you used to create one on an NTFS-partitioned drive. Note that the CDFS disk is read-only. This means that Services for Macintosh will interpret all security options as See Files and See Folders (read-only).
