Disconnect from a remote network

To disconnect from a remote network

  1. Open Network Connections.

  2. Right-click the connection you want to disconnect, and then click Disconnect.

Notes

  • To open Network Connections, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network Connections.

  • If you disable a local area connection, it disables the network adapter driver until the connection is reactivated.
