Setting permissions from a Macintosh or x86-based computer

A folder's owner can set permissions for the folder. Both the folder's owner and the server administrator can use an x86-based computer to set Windows Server 2003 family permissions for folders on the server. The folder's owner can set permissions for the folder from an x86-based computer because the owner of every folder has the P (Change Permission) permission for that folder.
