List the ADAM instances installed on a computer

To list the ADAM instances installed on a computer
Open an ADAM tools command prompt.
At the command prompt, type:
dsdbutil
At the dsdbutil: prompt, type:
list instances
To exit the dsdbutil administration tool, at the dsdbutil: prompt, type:
quit
Notes
To open an ADAM tools command prompt, click Start, point to All Programs, point to ADAM, and then click ADAM Tools Command Prompt.
The information about the ADAM instances that are listed by this procedure includes the following: ADAM instance name, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) port, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) port, installation directory, database file, log file directory, and service state.
