Copy an encrypted file or folder
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2
To copy an encrypted file or folder
Open Windows Explorer.
Click the encrypted file or folder that you want to copy.
On the Edit menu, click Copy.
Open the folder or disk where you want to store the copy.
On the Edit menu, click Paste.
Notes
To open Windows Explorer, click Start, point to All programs, point to Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.
An encrypted file or folder is decrypted if you copy it to a volume that is not an NTFS file system volume. The exception to this is when copying to a WebDAV folder on a server.
