Notes
Performing this task does not require you to have administrative credentials. Therefore, as a security best practice, consider performing this task as a user without administrative credentials.
To open a Control Panel item, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click the appropriate icon.
In the Windows Server 2003 family, only Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition, supports infrared networking.
The Wireless Link icon appears in Control Panel only if an infrared device is already installed on your computer.
If you clear the Allow others to send files to your computer using infrared communications check box, you can still send files to other computers by using Wireless Link.
