The following uses of a modem are supported:

Notes
You can also install communications programs provided by other manufacturers. They can provide added or different functionality or serve a specific purpose, such as connecting to an online service.
Because connection settings are not cleared after a call is completed, connection details (including the phone number) can be misused by malicious users.
