To configure plaintext password authentication for Macintosh remote access

Open MMC.
In the File menu, click Add/Remove Snap-in.
Click Add, click Group Policy Object Editor, and then click Add.
In the Select Group Policy Object wizard, click Finish, and then click Close.
In the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box, click OK.
In the Console Root, double-click Local Computer Policy, and then double-click Computer Configuration.
Double-click Windows Settings, and then double-click Security Settings.
Double-click Account Policies, and then click Password Policy.
Right-click Store password using reversible encryption for all users in the domain, and then click Properties.
On the Security tab, click Enabled. Click Apply and then OK.
