Import a Server Certificate (IIS 7)

Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista

Import a server certificate when you want to restore a lost or damaged server certificate that you previously backed up, or to install a server certificate sent to you by another user or certification authority (CA).

If a password is associated with the server certificate, you must know the password before you can import the server certificate.
