The minimum system requirements to run Windows® Search 4.0 are listed in the following table:

Microsoft Outlook® XP or Outlook® Express 6.0 (or later versions) Note Outlook® XP must be in Corporate or Workgroup mode. Outlook® 2003 and 2007 are recommended to be in cached mode.
Note Outlook® Express items cannot be indexed on 64-bit operating systems.
