Trust Policy - Event Log
Applies To: Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2
Error—Specifies whether to record events that are logged by significant problems to the event log.
Warning—Specifies whether to record events, which are not necessarily significant but that may cause future problems, to the event log.
Informational—Specifies whether to record informational events that are logged, such as redirects with protocol Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), token validations, or claim mappings.
Success audit—Specifies whether a security audit will be recorded for every successful authentication or trust policy change that is made to this Federation Service. All success records will be logged to the event log. In addition to this setting, the system auditing policy must be configured appropriately to accept the audits into the Security log.
Failure audit—Specifies whether a security audit will be recorded for every unsuccessful attempt to change the trust policy for this Federation Service. All audit failure records will be logged to the Security log.
Detailed success—Specifies whether a detailed security audit will be recorded for successful authentications.
Detailed failure—Specifies whether a detailed security audit will be recorded for failed authentications.
