This setting determines how sounds on a remote computer are handled when you are connected to the remote computer by using Remote Desktop Connection (RDC).

This setting corresponds to the settings in the Remote audio area on the Local Resources tab under Options in RDC.

Syntax

audiomode:i:<value>

Values

Value Explanation

0

Play sounds on the local computer (Play on this computer)

1

Play sounds on the remote computer (Play on remote computer)

2

Do not play sounds (Do not play)

The default value is 0.

Examples

To play sounds on the remote computer, type:
