Subject |
Displays the Subject friendly name. A subject is a person, organization, or thing that is being described or dealt with. Depending on how the certificate was issued, Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) 2.0 can display a Subject name in common name, distinguished name (also known as DN), or e-mail name format. |
Issuer |
Displays information about the certification authority (CA) that issued this certificate. |
Effective Date |
Displays the date that the issuer validated the certificate. |
Expiration Date |
Displays the date when this certificate will no longer be valid. When a certificate expires, the subject should request a new certificate. |
Add |
Opens a dialog box that you can use to locate a certificate for verifying the signatures on requests from this relying party. |
View |
Displays information about the selected certificate. |
Remove |
Removes the selected certificate from the list. |
