View Internet connection properties

Note

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To view Internet connection properties

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Network, and then click the Connectivity tab.

    The list view displays information about your network connections.

  3. In the list view, click Internet connection.

  4. In the Tasks pane, click View Internet connection properties. The Internet Connection properties page appears.

  5. Click the General tab to display the following information:

    • Connection status

    • Connection type

      If your router is UPnP enabled, you also see the following information:

    • IP address of the default gateway

    • Router manufacturer, if known

    • Internet address of router manufacture's Web site, if known

    From the General tab you can also click Manage router to open the router configuration page.

  6. The Port Mappings tab displays router ports that you configured to allow or restrict Internet traffic.
