Office Live Small Business Web sites

This section explains how to browse your organization’s Office Live Small Business Web sites by using Remote Web Workplace.
Note
Before completing this task, ask your network administrator to verify that the Office Live Small Business Web sites are configured on your server. For more information, see “Managing Windows Office Small Business Server 2008 Office Live Web Sites” at the Microsoft Web site (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=144426).
To browse your organization’s Office Live Small Business Web sites
On the client computer, open an Internet browser, such as Internet Explorer.
In the address bar, type https://<DomainName>/remote, where <DomainName> is the external domain name of your organization, such as contoso.com.
Note
If you have not yet set up an external domain name for your organization, access Remote Web Workplace by typing https://sites/remote in the address bar.
Type your user name and password to log on to Remote Web Workplace.
On the Remote Web Workplace home page, in Organization Links, do the following:
To view your organization’s Business Web site, click Browse your Business Web site.
To view your organization’s Business Applications Web site, click Browse your Business Applications Web site.
Note
If you are using Internet Explorer as your Internet browser, you can view Remote Web Workplace by clicking Remote Web Workplace on the Favorites menu.

If your computer is running Windows Vista, the Windows Small Business Server Desktop Links gadget is installed on your computer. This gadget is displayed after you add it to the Windows Sidebar, and when the Windows Sidebar is open. To add the gadget, right-click the Windows Sidebar, click Add Gadgets, and then double-click Windows Small Business Server Desktop Links. To browse the Business Web site by using the gadget, in Organization Links, click Browse your Business Web site. To browse the Business Web Applications Web site by using the gadget, click Browse your Business Applications Web site.
