Troubleshooting Office 365 Integration Errors

This section provides information to help you troubleshoot common problems that you may encounter when using the Office 365 Integration Module.
This topic includes information about the following issues:
Office 365 email addresses appear in the Dashboard with the old domain name
Some Office 365 accounts were not created

Office 365 email addresses appear in the Dashboard with the old domain name
Description
When you run the Link a domain to Office 365 task, the domain passes the verification phase and the wizard seems to complete successfully, but the Office 365 email addresses appear in the Dashboard with the old domain name. This issue occurs because the Link Your Domain to Office 365 Wizard cannot further configure a domain that was already added by using the Office 365 portal website.
Solution
To resolve this issue, you must sign in to the Office 365 portal, and then manually change the primary domain.
To manually change the primary domain
Log on Office 365 portal as an administrator.
In the header, click Admin.
The name of your organization appears on the Admin Overview page as a link at the top of the left pane.
To view the profile details for your organization, click the organization name.
In the profile window, click Edit.
On the Edit company information page, for Primary verified domain, select your domain, and then click OK.
To manually change the email domain of an Office 365 account
In the Office 365 portal header, click Admin.
On the Admin Overview page, under Management, click Users.
On the Users page, select the check box for the account that you want to edit, and then click Edit.
On the Details page, for User name, select your domain in the drop-down list, and then click Save.

Some Office 365 accounts were not created
Description
In some circumstances, an attempt to create one or more Office 365 accounts will not complete successfully.
Solution
If this occurs, click the link on the wizard completion page to open a results file that contains detailed information about each account creation request that did not complete successfully. For example, a result may inform you that a specific Office 365 account already exists.
Take actions as necessary to resolve each error.
If you continue to experience this problem, restart the server and then try again.
