Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server
Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server includes multiple scan engines from global security firms integrated into a single solution to help businesses protect their Microsoft Exchange Server messaging environments from viruses, worms, and unwanted or dangerous file types.
Businesses can run up to five antivirus scan engines at once and in different combinations across the server system. Forefront Security for Exchange Server automatically downloads the latest signatures and optimizes scan-engine use based on user settings. Many of the antivirus scan engines include heuristics technologies that can detect malicious code even before a signature is available. It has configurable file-filtering rules that help customers eliminate file types known for carrying viruses.

Documents can also be scanned by using other administrator-defined content policies. All documents are scanned as they are uploaded to and retrieved from SharePoint libraries. Forefront Security for SharePoint also enables administrators to manage product configuration, operation, automated antivirus signature updates, and reporting at the server and enterprise levels.
