public sealed class DebuggableAttribute : Attribute
The DebuggableAttribute type exposes the following members.
Constructors
Name | Description | |
---|---|---|
DebuggableAttribute(DebuggableAttribute.DebuggingModes) | Initializes a new instance of the DebuggableAttribute class, using the specified debugging modes for the just-in-time (JIT) compiler. | |
DebuggableAttribute(Boolean, Boolean) | Initializes a new instance of the DebuggableAttribute class, using the specified tracking and optimization options for the just-in-time (JIT) compiler. |

Methods
Name | Description | |
---|---|---|
Equals | Infrastructure. Returns a value that indicates whether this instance is equal to a specified object. (Inherited from Attribute.) | |
Finalize | Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.) | |
GetHashCode | Returns the hash code for this instance. (Inherited from Attribute.) | |
GetType | Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.) | |
Match | When overridden in a derived class, returns a value that indicates whether this instance equals a specified object. (Inherited from Attribute.) | |
MemberwiseClone | Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.) | |
ToString | Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.) |

Remarks
The DebuggableAttribute class controls how the runtime treats code within the module. The runtime might track extra information about generated code, and it might disable certain optimizations based on the values contained within this attribute.
A debugger might choose to ignore the DebuggableAttribute settings when loading an assembly. However, attaching a debugger to a running program may prevent the debugger from changing the settings because they have already been applied.
To use DebuggableAttribute with dynamic assemblies using the reflection emit DefineDynamicModule methods, emit DebuggableAttribute before calling the DefineDynamicModule methods to ensure that the settings are applied to the entire assembly.
