Namespace:  System.Windows
Assembly:  System.Windows (in System.Windows.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Property MaxHeight As Double
public double MaxHeight { get; set; }
<frameworkElement MaxHeight="double"/>

Property Value

Type: System.Double
The maximum height of the object, in pixels. The default value is PositiveInfinity. This value can be any value equal to or greater than 0. PositiveInfinity is also valid.

Remarks

Dependency property identifier field: MaxHeightProperty

This is one of three properties on FrameworkElement that specify height information. The other two are MinHeight and Height. If there is a conflict between these values, the order of application for actual height determination is first MinHeight must be honored, then MaxHeight, and finally if each of these are within bounds, Height.

Non-integral values for MaxHeight are technically permitted, but should generally be avoided and are normally rounded by the default layout rounding behavior. See Layout Rounding.
