The 2020-06-12 Azure Storage version includes the following features and updates. You can now:

  • Scope blob batch subrequests to a specific container, and authorize blob batch requests with a container shared access signature. For more information, see the Blob Batch operation.

  • Set an immutability policy on a blob. For more information, see Set Blob Immutability Policy.

  • Delete an immutability policy that has been set on a blob. For more information, see the Delete Blob Immutability Policy operation.

  • Set a legal hold on a blob. For more information, see the Set Blob Legal Hold operation.

  • Get Blob Properties now supports the x-ms-upn request header for storage accounts with hierarchical namespace enabled.

  • Get Blob Properties and Get Blob now supports the x-ms-owner, x-ms-group, and x-ms-permissions response headers for storage accounts with hierarchical namespace enabled.
