Enable Sync with Insights for Education Leaders

Important

If you're still using SDS (Classic) for provisioning SIS / SMS data to Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID to managing users and classes you will ONLY be able to set up Insights & Analytics scenarios.

Set up SDS for Microsoft 365 Education Tenant

Enabling Sync with Insights for Education Leaders

  1. Navigate to Sync | Configuration and select Insights & analytics tab.

  2. Select Edit Insights for EDU leaders. You see a fly-out window.

  3. Toggle the Turn on Sync with Insights for Education Leaders to ‘On’.

  4. Select Save preferences.

  5. Once request to turn on Sync with Insights for Education Leaders is acknowledged, you see a confirmation.

    Note

    Wait for subsequent sync run complete before you'll be able to see your data available in Insights for Education Leaders experiences.

  6. Select the ‘X’ on the top of the fly-out to close and return to the Home dashboard page.

Disabling Sync with Insights for Education Leaders

  1. Navigate to Sync | Configuration and select Insights & analytics tab.

  2. Select Edit Insights for EDU leaders. You see a fly-out window.

  3. Toggle the Turn off Sync with Insights for Education Leaders to ‘Off’.

  4. Select Save preferences.

  5. Once Sync to Insights for Education Leaders turn off request is acknowledged, you see a confirmation.

  6. Select the ‘X’ on the top of the fly-out to close and return to the Home dashboard page.
