Leverage Azure Cosmos DB for time-series for IoT Applications
The session focuses on how can we build IoT end-to-end applications on top of Azure. The major focus will be on leveraging Azure cosmos DB for not only storing devices, tenants, entitlement, alarms but also time-series data store. We can have one data store for all the IoT modules. I will be talking about fine-tuning Azure Cosmos DB settings to ensure we get the best performance for typical IoT queries (The last 1 month of device telemetry data ). I will talk about how you can optimize the Azure Cosmos DB storing IoT telemetry data in read-heavy workload scenarios. I am also planning to give an end to end IoT demo and focus my talk around Azure Cosmos DB.
