Plan performance and bandwidth for Microsoft Office 365

Moving to Microsoft Office 365 means a lot of network connectivity that previously went to internal or outsourced datacenters now connects to Microsoft datacenters. Customers can connect to Office 365 over the public Internet or over ExpressRoute. In either case they must plan for the network connectivity and bandwidth and this is not a trivial amount of work. This talk walks through different methods available for bandwidth calculation including the Excel calculators, the overestimate approach, and measurement based extrapolation. We include discussion of bandwidth requirements for all Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Skype for Business Online.
