Skype for Business SDN Interface Schema Reference

Reference documentation for the Software Defined Network (SDN) Interface XML schemas, both Schema "C" and Schema "D".

The Skype for Business 2015 SDN Interface is supported by two XSD schemas:

  • SDNInterface.Schema.C.xsd

  • SDNInterface.Schema.D.xsd

  • SDNInterface.Schema.C_3.0.xsd

  • SDNInterface.Schema.D_3.0.xsd

These four schema shall be referred to as the "C", "D", "C_3.0", and "D_3.0" schemas, respectively.

The "C" schema was released with previous versions of the Skype for Business SDN Interface and supports version 2.1 and 2.1.1 (previously known as Lync SDN Interface, versions 2.1 and 2.1.1).

The "D" schema was released with Skype for Business SDN Interface, version 2.2. The "C_3.0" and "D_3.0" schemas support version 3.0.

Note

The 3.0 schemas have not been documented yet. You can download the schema, release notes, and updated utilities from Skype for Business Software Defined Networking (SDN) Interface 3.0.
